Change is in the air. The Wheel of Fortune reminds us that life is ever changing; difficult times become easier and happy times may be clouded by unexpected events, just as the sun gives way to the moon and the moon to the sun, life has its’ cycles.

If you are going through some challenging times this card bring encouragement as it announces that things will change and the problems you are facing will either be resolved or at least become more manageable.

We must accept that life is never static and be careful to not take anything for granted because you never know how long it will last. When times are good we should enjoy and appreciate
every moment and when times are bad we can console ourselves with the knowledge that it will pass in time.

But this card also reminds us to live in the moment and not get caught up in worrying that our happiness will end or wishing that the terrible times will come to an end soon and forget to look at what we can learn from the situation.

Traditionally, the Wheel of Fortune indicates that destiny or fate is working its’ magic and that an event beyond your control will change your present circumstances.

This card can also indicate that you have reached the end of a cycle or stage in your life.

Unlike most cards the Wheel of Fortune brings the same message whether it is right side up or upside down. Some books will offer a divinatory meaning as follow; right side up – the card
announces success, better times ahead, and upside down – failure, dark times ahead.

I leave it up to you to decide which interpretation you wish to follow.

    Get to Know Your Tarot

The magical and mysterious world of the Tarot has been around to guide us for hundreds of years. It is actually unknown exactly when the Tarot appeared or where it originated. There is much controversy about its birth but one thing is for such it was not invented by the poor. The first Tarot cards recorded were painted on parchment, or thin sheets of ivory, silver or even gold.

In this section I will help you get acquainted with the meaning of each Tarot card. Every Friday, I will present a new card starting with the Major Arcana. There are a total of 78 cards in the Tarot, though 22 in the MA, which is believed to be symbolic of the human experience.
