Who is Neroli? Our own story is often the most difficult to put down in writing. Trying to figure out what my readers would like to know about me is somewhat challenging. So, I will simply give you some basic information and should some of you wish to know specifics, then a simple question might get you the answer.
I was born in Montreal. My parents are both French Canadian and French was the language spoken in our home, but I had the privilege to learn English at a very young age. I was fully bilingual by the time I was three because my family moved to Toronto before I was a year old. I moved around a lot and grew up mostly in Quebec, but my life continued in both languages as most of my friends were also bilingual. To me French/English, I don't really see the difference and I am grateful for it has opened many doors for me. I have met amazing people and cannot imagine my life without either language. |
My love for arts |
Since I was a teenage girl, art has been a very important part of my life; from drawing, to painting, to writing and many other practices in between. I love all forms of art. There are many forms of art that I did not get a chance to learn while I was younger and that I am now trying to fit into my busy schedule. I believe it is important to at least try each of our interests, even if just for a short while.

My morning ritual |
As you may know by now, I have an inkling towards Tarot cards. They have guided me through some difficult decisions and given me hope when I needed it most. It took years of experimenting and exploring to develop a good understanding of the cards.
In the last few years, I have a developed a morning ritual that involves my drawing a daily Tarot card. First, I toss the beads on my Himalayan calendar to the correct date then I shuffle my cards and draw one to see what kind of day lies ahead. I make note of this card in a special note book, so I may look back whenever I feel the need to. |
